Terme Snovik - an excellent starting point for trips and hikes...

The surroundings of Terme Snovik offer many starting points for pleasant trips, either to hike in the mountains or to visit the numerous points of interest. There are also many opportunities for sports and recreation.

Velika planina

Velika planina is the name of a plateau above Kamnik. The herdsmen built here several clusters of herdsmen's cottages of unique shape that have become the plateau's trademark. The plateau provides opportunity for various sports activities in all seasons of the year.

Church - Sv. Miklavž

North-east of Šmartno, over the village Gradišče, a gothic church of sv. Miklavž (St. Nicholas) is standing on the hill Gora (750 m).

Menina planina

Menina planina is one of the most beautiful plateaus in Slovenia, adorned by many natural sites.

Natural healing grove Tunjice

Tunjice is an idyllic village near Kamnik, at the foot of the Kamniške Alps. The natural healing grove is located near church, consisting of several energy springs in the gentle slope joining in a well with healing water. The areas of the springs' benevolent effects are marked with circles and ideograms of various sizes.

The town Kamnik

Kamnik with its surroundings offers a wide range of experiences for children, for young and a little older guests, couples in love, the youth and families. A walk itself through Kamnik is a unique experience. After visiting museums, galleries and sacral and cultural monuments, you can indulge yourself in sitting down on the benches along the tree alley at Mali grad, in the park Evropa, at Šutna or by the fountain and the Trg svobode, by the granaries next to the museum in Zaprice… Refreshments await you in the town cafés, sweetshops, snack bars or inns.

Arboretum - Volčji potok

Arboretum is a carefully planned park and a collection of wooden plants (trees and shrubs. There are altogether over 4500 domestic and foreign species of trees, shrubs and other plants. Visitors are invited to attend various seasonal shows throughout the year.

Golf Arboretum

The Arboretum Volčji Potok golf course is situated in the midst of pine forest and among ponds. A diverse 18 hole course presents quite a challenge even for the best players.

Krvavec

Krvavec is a mountain in the Kamniško-Savinjske Alps offering its visitors numerous opportunities for recreation throughout the year.
