CEREMONIAL LAYING OF THE FOUNDATION STONE FOR KNEIPP NATUR HOTEL

On November 26, 2024, we ceremonially laid the foundation stone for the Kneipp NaturHotel at Terme Snovik, marking a new chapter in the development of our sustainability story.

With this project, our thermal spa has made a significant step forward, as the construction includes an expansion of wellness and conference facilities that will complement the existing offerings.

On this occasion, we reflected on our rich history – from the construction of the first pool 30 years ago to today, when we are a leading sustainable tourist destination.

The foundation stone, which now proudly stands at the entrance to the spa, at the foot of the path leading to the apartment complex, comes from Urankar's birthplace and symbolizes our respect for tradition and our vision for the future.

We were supported at the event by numerous distinguished guests. Minister of Economy, Tourism and Sports Matjaž Han emphasized the importance of this project for the future of Slovenian tourism, while Mayor of Kamnik Matej Slapar highlighted its role in the development of the region. We were also joined by the director of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, Fedja Pobegajlo, who praised our commitment to sustainability and collaboration with the local community.

We are pleased that the Kneipp NaturHotel, with luxurious accommodation, a modern wellness center, and enhanced offerings will become a center of health, relaxation, and well-being for our guests, while also bringing new employment opportunities, strengthening the local economy, and extending the tourist season in the region.

With a cultural program prepared by children from the local kindergarten and school, we enriched the event with warmth and community spirit, which has always connected us at Terme Snovik with our green Tuhinj Valley.

The construction of the Kneipp NaturHotel is being carried out according to the principles of sustainable development, and we plan to open it in 2026. We look forward to writing a success story together with this new addition and maintaining our vision of a green, healthy, and active destination.
