This is a route that introduces you to the rich history of Kamnik. The journey begins at Terme Snovik and soon leads into a long but moderate climb towards Zgornje Palovče. Here you will find the 350‑year‑old Budnarjeva domačija, transformed into a living museum. From this point, the route starts descending towards Kamnik.
At the turnoff for Stari grad, you can take a right and visit the ruins of the once‑mighty fortress, today known for its breathtaking panoramic views. The descent into the valley requires exceptional caution, as the road is winding and the incline can result in very high speeds.
