The route begins at Glavni trg in Kamnik. Cross the Maister Bridge and turn right. Continue along the Kamniška Bistrica River until you reach a larger crossroads. There, turn left towards the Kamnik Health Centre, then turn right again, passing the Rudolf Maister Grammar and Secondary School.
Continue to the main road and cross it. You will once again find yourself on the path running along the Kamniška Bistrica River, which you follow all the way to the roundabout. From there, head in the direction of the Volčji Potok Arboretum.
