In June, the Tuhinja Valley will once again come alive with true cycling spirit. On 20 June 2026, cyclists will take on the 20th Cycling Ascent, starting at Terme Snovik and finishing at the scenic GTC 902 Črnivec. The event, now a traditional highlight of the valley’s sports calendar, attracts numerous recreational cyclists, nature lovers and young cycling enthusiasts every year.
Participants will tackle an approximately 10‑kilometre route leading from Terme Snovik through Osredkar and Poljana to Črnivec.

The ascent is competitive and suitable for everyone seeking a sporting challenge and the atmosphere of true mountain biking.
As every year, the youngest cyclists will also have their moment. Children will take part in their own non‑competitive challenge, focused on movement, joy and encouragement.

Registration will also be possible on the day of the event, between 6:00 and 9:00 at the starting area.
The official announcement of results and award ceremony will take place at 12:00 on the terrace in front of Terme Snovik.
Each competitor who returns their start number will receive:
a commemorative T‑shirt
a voucher for a warm meal and drink
a gift ticket for swimming at Terme Snovik
The top three in each category will receive medals.
